Books

Books are inanimate objects that give pleasure to a readers mind. Some people contradict that books are alive through the writings of authors. But I personally respect books and cherish them. Books have stories that let's our imagination roam wide.  Every page has words filled to intrigue a reader. And every word connects to form sentences that plays with the curiousity of the human mind. As a curious person myself , once I read 1-2 pages I feel obligated to read the entire book.

With the help of technology, we can now read books in tablets and mobile phones. Books can be downloaded online in the form of PDF file or any other reader file. There are drawbacks as well as advantages to this. The advantage is that, You don't have to carry a whole book around and it will be stored in your phone in Megabytes depending on the size of the book. And the drawback is staring too long at the screen can damage your eyes. And personally I like holding a book and flipping pages. And to me a book is a means to distract myself from using my phone too much. So reading a book from a phone feels wrong to me.

Books to recommend

1. The Alchemist
A very popular book which lives up to its expectations. A fable of a young man who achieves his goal with factors that can be related to a common persons real life problems. A must read.

2. Aleph
A personal favorite of mine. A mind boggling book about Paulo Coelho himself. It's about a journey he takes in Russia to find himself. And he stumbles upon a person who was more than significant to his upcoming journey to find himself.

3. SAPIENS
This book may look like a typical boring history book , but this book has facts dating back to millions of years ago , starting from how there were 6 human species and as to.why there is only one remaining right now. The author Yuval Noah has penned this book quite descriptively and has made history fun to read.
